Are there fees for turning in my rental books late?

If your rental is past due, you may experience a fee for a late rental return, which will either be a partial late fee or the full non-return fee.

The full fee is the replacement value of the book, which will add up to be the difference between the rent price you paid and the list price (MSRP) for each textbook that has not been returned. Partial late fees extend your rental for another week and are 20% of the total fee (we may charge up to two late fees before the full fee is charged).

If a partial late fee has been charged, you are still required to return your rental. If the non-return fee has been charged, your rental is now yours to keep. We typically charge two partial late fees before charging the full non-return fee.
